The Defense Investigator and Paralegal's Guide to Forensic DNA Analysis:

This presentation will provide a brief description of the various steps involved in the Forensic DNA Analysis process and the common errors and problems that can occur along each step of the way.  It will describe the importance of reviewing not only the DNA report, but the analyst’s entire case file as well as the electronic DNA data.  A typical DNA report will be broken down into its composite parts and each section will be explained.  Finally, various possible defense strategies will be presented to help combat or mitigate a DNA match.
